Assignment
Equal Voice is a non-partisan organization that promotes the election of women to political office. When the group received federal funding to create a national mentorship program, they engaged Blueprint to develop a communications plan, handle media relations and project-manage the program’s official launch.
“How appropriate—to have a team of talented, bright-minded women take on this challenge. They carried it off with style and grace, and created a strong communications platform on which we will continue to build in the coming years.” Françoise Gagnon Senior Program Director, Experiences, Equal Voice

The Blueprint approach

Excited by the program’s potential for real political change, sponsors and funders from across the country were counting on a successful launch. The Blueprint team invested themselves fully—offering counsel beyond the call, working within tight timelines, and carefully managing stakeholders’ expectations and requirements while developing a thoughtful, strategic communications plan.

Highlights and outcomes

The launch of Experiences was hugely successful. The mentorship program received national exposure and established itself nationally as a one-of-a-kind initiative that brings female leaders and young women together to actively encourage women’s participation in politics.
