			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Blueprint Public Relations is proud to announce that Aurélie Walsh, senior consultant, has been selected to sit on the Board of the Christmas Cheer Foundation. The Foundation hosts Ottawa’s largest networking breakfast event, the Christmas Cheer Breakfast, followed by a full-day broadcast with 100% of all proceeds going to the Ottawa Food Bank, the Christmas Exchange and the Ottawa Senators’ Foundation. Next year marks the 20<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the breakfast and the 60<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the broadcast, and we are excited that Aurélie will be helping the Foundation achieve these major milestones.</p>

BPR has been retained to conduct the audit which includes an employee survey and stakeholder interviews as well as a materials assessment. We will be providing recommendations based on the audit results.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BPR is excited to once again be involved with Dreams Take Flight, a volunteer organization that sends local children affected by serious medical or social circumstances, on a one-day trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney World, Florida. Aurélie and Kelly are volunteering their time to prepare and implement a communications plan and media relations plan, and will travel to Disney World with the children on October 14th, 2009. BPR is committed to supporting our community and is proud to be able to encourage and support our employees in this initiative.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BPR is excited to sponsor Canada’s first ever “multi-profession” consultation summit: the National Engineering Summit 2009, <em>Leading a Canadian Future: The New Engineer in Society</em>. The three day Summit will be held at <em>Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth</em>, Montreal, from May 19 – 21, 2009.</p>
<p>Summit participants will come from the health, environment, infrastructure and industrial sectors. Working with representatives from the engineering profession, they will examine and discuss the national and global issues facing each sector, and contribute to a closing statement. That statement will guide the engineering profession’s future work by identifying engineering services that will lead to a healthier, cleaner, safer, more competitive and sustainable Canada in a global society.</p>
<p>“Our firm has provided communications counsel to the engineering profession for almost 15 years,” said Robyn Osgood APR, partner. “The Summit is yet another example of engineering’s leadership and we’re proud to contribute.”</p>

		<description><![CDATA[BPR is proud to work with Equal Voice to launch its national mentorship program aimed at advancing the participation of young girls and women in political life.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BPR is proud to work with Equal Voice to launch its national mentorship program aimed at advancing the participation of young girls and women in political life. With funding from Status of Women Canada for $1,208,404 over 28 months, the <em>Experiences</em> project will work in partnership with other organizations to increase democratic participation among girls and young women by introducing girls aged 12 to 18 and young women aged 18 to 25 to positive role models and mentors and by nurturing their political literacy and inspiring them to become political leaders in the future. BPR has been hired to develop a communications plan in support of the initiative, and to provide media relations and project management support for the launch being held on March 3rd.<br />
