BPR is proud to work with Equal Voice to launch its national mentorship program aimed at advancing the participation of young girls and women in political life. With funding from Status of Women Canada for $1,208,404 over 28 months, the Experiences project will work in partnership with other organizations to increase democratic participation among girls and young women by introducing girls aged 12 to 18 and young women aged 18 to 25 to positive role models and mentors and by nurturing their political literacy and inspiring them to become political leaders in the future. BPR has been hired to develop a communications plan in support of the initiative, and to provide media relations and project management support for the launch being held on March 3rd.
“We’re happy to be involved with a project which could influence the career aspirations of young women in Canada. This project has the potential to effect real political change”.
Robyn Osgood, APR, Partner
